What made you want to work in the wedding industry?
I have worked in the industry since I was 15 years old. I worked on close to 1000 weddings in my lifetime and I still love it! Being such an integral part of one of the most special days in someone’s life gives me a feeling that I cannot even describe. It is the most amazing thing!

What’s your favorite part of weddings?
I love the planning and anticipation. I love seeing how excited a couple gets when they finally select their menu or when all the things they ordered on Amazon are delivered – and they cannot wait to tell ME about it =) I am also ALWAYS a sucker for the couple’s 1st dance – I still tear up every time!

What’s your favorite wedding show/movie, and why?
WELL – I honestly don’t watch much TV but I must say that My Big Fat Greek Wedding is one of my favorite movies! I also love The Wedding Singer, Wedding Crashers, Monster-in-Law, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry and Meet the Parents – yes I have a very good sense of humor!

What’s your favorite part of meeting new couples?
11960479_10100780114571300_1193056055_oWhat’s not to love? Meeting new people is one of my most favorite things! However, I must say that my favorite part of meeting a new couple is hearing them tell the story of how they met and/or how they got engaged. You can just feel the energy between them and see the sparks! This always adds to the million other reasons why I want to help them have the perfect wedding =)

What is your inspiration for what you do?
The heartfelt gratitude that I am shown from my couples and their families. When someone looks at you and tells you that you are “indispensable” or “the best investment that they ever made” and they really, truly mean it – that is one of the best feelings in the world. When they hug you when all is said and done and tell you that they “never could have done this without you” – it is the greatest compliment that someone can give.

20150516_164647When should brides be booking you?
If a bride is considering using Full Planning services, booking a planner is certainly recommended 18-24 months in advance. Preparing a budget and booking all of your “major vendors” this far in advance is a MUST! For Day-of-Coordination, I can jump in at any time – but I might not always have the date available – so the sooner, the better! <3
